Following on from covering Super Talent’s new MasterDrive SX SSD Series, Transcend have also announced a new SSD, namely the Transcend SSD25D 2.5″ SSD, which offers up 64MB of integrated DRAM cache and which comes in 60GB and 120GB capabilities.

Super Talent have introduced their latest range of SATAII 2.5″ solid state drives in the form of the Super Talent MasterDrive SX SSD Series which consists of three new SSD units – specifically the 64GB SAM64GM25S, 128GB SAM28GM25S and the 256GB SAM56GM25S.

Western Digital have just entered the Solid State Drive field with their first self-branded SiliconDrive III series. The new 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch SiliconDrive III SSD range uses the (recently acquired) SiliconSystems technology and runs at 100MBp read speeds and 80MBps write speeds.
