Alienware have just confirmed the immediate availability of its latest gaming monitor, the 21.5″ 16:9 aspect ratio Alienware OptX AW2210 which, as well as offering 1080p HD resolution comes with dual HDMI ports, promises, according to Alienware at least, to deliver ‘the ultimate gaming experience’.

Iiyama have announced that their 21.5″ ProLite E2208HDS-B HD LCD monitor, which offers 1920 x 180 (Full HD) resolution and a response time of 5ms, is now shipping in Japan.

Samsung together with RADVISION have taken the wraps off their new video conference multimedia LCD monitor, the Samsung VC240, which, apart from a HD display (curiously the actual resolution isn’t specified at this juncture) comes complete with inbuilt 5 megapixel webcam allowing for V2oIP video/audio communications.
