A number of notebooks had some NVDIA issues back in 2008 and 2009 and apparently it is only now that NVIDIA has decided to settle the defective GPU issues which hounded owners. Major notebook brands like Sony were hit by these defective GPUs but thankfully, they will be now addressed.
