We first covered Nintendo’s latest iteration of the DS back in November when it began rolling out in Japan and now, at last, the Nintendo DSi is nearing a US release with Amazon now accepting pre-orders on both the Matte Black and Matte Blue DSi consoles.

Vuzix have added to their iWear range with the release of their new Vuzix iWear AV310 Widescreen Eyewear which purportedly offers a viewing experience comparable to viewing a 52 foot 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen display from a distance of nine feet.

Initial details concerning the up and coming firmware v2.60 update for the PS3 have materialised confirming that Sony’s new PS3 update is primarily focused on expanding the console’s multimedia capabilities, courtesy of a new Photo Gallery application, as well as offering guest access to the PlayStation Store.

NVIDIA has launched the GeForce GTX 285 single GPU graphics card which is based on the enhanced 55nm GT200B core. The GT200B core has also been used in the GeForce GTX 295 card. NVIDIA claims that the GTX 285 is the world’s fastest single GPU graphics card.
