For the last few weeks retailers have fought for more media attention in hopes of getting more customers next week on Black Friday, but with the big event just around the corner it was about time to get our eyes on some serious deals. Well it looks like Best Buy is trying to get ahead of others and although it’s not Black Friday related, it’s a hell of a deal in the HDTV department that we just couldn’t pass on.

The rumors which  surfaced back in March regarding the PS3 offering Netflix members access to on demand content via a free streaming facility have been confirmed last month have been slated for release sometime in November. Sony has kept their promise, and today announced that the Netflix PS3 streaming has become official and it’s now live on the Playstation 3.

It probably sounds only logical for Apple to try to pursue TV dreams. The Cupertino-based company is reportedly working on a solution that would help them deliver TV content to you via iTunes for a monthly subscription. Having just posted concerning Canon officially announcing their new EOS-1D Mark IV we follow up with a brief heads up for those of you who own the Canon EOS 5D Mark II as Canon have confirmed that they are currently working on a firmware update that’ll serve to ramp up the EOS 5D Mark II’s capabilities in allowing for 1080p (Full HD) full frame movie capture at both 24 and 25 frames per second.
