The recent Muve Music news has been mostly device and subscriber count related. If you remember back, Cricket announced that the Huawei Mercury smartphone was available and supported the service back in early-April. And otherwise, it was back in early-January when the service cracked the half-a-million user mark.

HTC has come forward with release details for the Desire C smartphone in the UK. The handset is expected to come available with a wide range of carriers and retailers, however at this point — the carrier details are just beginning to roll-in.

It looks like Windows Phone users have gotten another well deserved (and long awaited) app. The latest to find its way into the Windows Phone Marketplace is LinkedIn, which is now available for devices running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango or later.

We have seen quite a bit in terms of the HTC EVO 4G LTE availability. Sprint had already announced the pricing and release details. Not to mention, the handset has previously come available for pre-order with Sprint as well as with Best Buy.

Virgin Mobile began accepting pre-orders for the LG Optimus Elite smartphone last week, and well, it looks like they either had very limited inventory or very brisk sales. We had been hearing the chatter, and well, a quick visit to the Verizon website offers the confirmation — the Droid RAZR Maxx has been given a price cut. The handset is now a $100 less expansive and Verizon appears to be pushing it along with Color for Facebook.

It looks like the Sparrow email app has been updated. In this case we are referring to Sparrow for iPhone as opposed to the Sparrow for Mac app. The former was updated to version 1.2 and the latter, while not updated just yet, does have version 1.6 “coming soon.”
