Samsung Series 9 Laptops Available for Pre-order; Prices for 2012 Samsung HDTV Models Leaked

Samsung has a bunch of new products coming up, including computers and HDTV, and today we have more details regarding their pricing and availability dates.

Samsung’s MacBook Air-like laptop, the Series 9 is now available for pre-order from Electronics retailer J&R in two versions, a 13.3-inch model that retails for $1,399.99 and a 15-inch version that costs $1,499.99. The retailer is not listing a release date at this time, but word on the street is that the laptops will be available starting with February 27.

The 13.3-inch model will offer a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of RAM, 128GB SSD, 1600 x 900 resolution, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity, microHDMI support, 802.11n Wi-Fi, WiDi 2.0 and Windows 7. The 15.5-inch Series 9 pack the same 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 processor, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, micro HDMI, 802.11n Wi-Fi, WiDi 2.0 and Windows 7 but offers 8GB memory and a 256 SSD.

If the Series 9 laptops are not that interesting to you, then you may want to check out Samsung’s 2012 family of HDTVs, especially now that pricing details for these big-screen TV have been leaked.
