US Cellular Rumored To Be Launching The Galaxy S II & Galaxy Tab 10.1 [Latest Leaked Image From US Cellular Gives Further Evidence Of A Galaxy Tab 10.1 Tablet & Galaxy S II Smartphone Release; Dates & Prices Remain A Mystery]

Back towards the beginning of November we saw some leaked information that suggested US Cellular was going to be launching a “new 4G smartphone” and a “new 4G tablet.” And well, given the timing of the leak and the appearance of the devices in the image — many suspected that the devices would arrive as the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

That being said, it looks like some additional information has been revealed. And yes, this latest bit comes by way of another leak. In other words, we are still waiting on further (and official) word from the carrier. That aside though, it is now looking like the original reports were correct on one of those two devices.

Based on this latest leak, it looks like US Cellular will be launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet and the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone — both of which will be ready for the 4G network. In terms of this latest leak, it arrives as a screenshot from the internal ESN system of US Cellular. And as you can see below, the drop down in that image is showing the Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Tab 10.1.

All that said, we have yet to see much in terms of a release date or a price for either device, however based on the original leak from early November — it was looking like these were not going to arrive until sometime in 2012. Of course, while saying 2012 or ‘next year’ sounds a ways away, that release could be coming anytime after the next week is over.

All said and done, it looks like US Cellular will soon have a few more worthwhile options in terms of Android. After all, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy S II have both received some decent reviews. Still, nice devices aside, there is still one thing that could keep them from being successful — the price.
