MetroPCS Devices Now Available With Amazon.com
Those shopping for a new mobile phone and doing so using Amazon.com now have another mobile carrier to choose from, MetroPCS. Yup, MetroPCS has been officially added to the available device lineup with Amazon.

That being said, this latest addition should make purchasing a MetroPCS branded device a bit easier. Not only can you order it and have it delivered, but activating the phone will then be as simple as dialing *228. Of course, there are also other activation options including visiting a MetroPCS retail store or by surfing on over to the MetroPCS website. Otherwise, it seems that MetroPCS is taking the budget and convenience angle with having their device being available on Amazon.
“We are committed to offering our customers affordable handsets along with exceptional service and delivering both at an incredible value,” said Tom Keys, president and COO of MetroPCS. “Making our phones available on Amazon.com is just one way that we’re providing consumers with a convenient purchase option that will allow them to have it all with MetroPCS’ services.”
Regardless of the angle though, it looks like those interested will be able to pick from a selection of phones and smartphones as well as “Android and 4G LTE devices.” With that, judging from a quick look at the Amazon.com website we can see a rather wide variety of MetroPCS compatible devices available for sale. But that aside, the details we received from MetroPCS offer nothing specific in terms of individual handsets or pricing. And while that does leave us with a question or two, we can also look at the flip side in that the details did not contain anything specific about which devices would not be carried. In short, if you are looking for a MetroPCS handset, you may want to check out the Amazon.com website.
