Droid 4 Advertising Audio Clips Leaked, Suggest The Handset Was/Is Ready For Launch [Latest Rumors Suggest A February Release For The Motorola Droid 4, In The Meantime Here Are Six Audio Clips To Help Build Some Excitement]

Many were suspecting the Motorola Droid 4 to launch with Verizon Wireless on December 22nd. And well, as you can likely see — the handset did not arrive as expected. Perhaps a bit more important, Verizon Wireless and Motorola did not offer anything in terms of an official statement either.

That being said, the interwebs have since shifted towards a February release for the handset and while we are waiting for Verizon and/or Motorola to officially release the news — it looks like some advertising focused audio clips have been leaked. In total, six audio clips have been leaked and they are suggesting that the handset either was (or still is) ready for launch. Anyway, while we wait for the news to come, we can at least entertain ourselves with these clips.

But before you skip down to the source link at the bottom of this post, the audio from those clips did cover and confirm some of the specs. For example, they mentioned that the handset is 4G LTE compatible, that it has a slide-out hardware QWERTY keyboard and is going to be powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.

Of course, nothing all that surprising in that respect as the specs had been revealed in the past. But trying to stay positive, it is always nice to get some further confirmation. In addition, some of the other clips go on to mention the design. Specifically the display, which is Corning Gorilla Glass and the water repellent nano-technology coating.

Otherwise, it was noted that the front-facing camera is high-def, that the handset will have an extended battery and that the hardware QWERTY will be sporting edge-lit keys so you will be able to message during the night and/or day. And with that, hit the source link below to check out the actual audio.
