As you can see, Gameloft has something for both casual gamers but also for hardcore gamers that are taking more and more seriously smartphone and tablet gaming. Of the titles above we’ll remark The Adventures of Tintin HD, the official game of the movie that was just released in the U.S., the new Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nations shooter, Orders & Chaos Online, the first smartphone and tablet MMORPG game, the Assassin’s Creed titles or the company’s Asphalt racing games.
Most of these games, if not all, are also available in the App Store right now, and some of them are priced at $0.99, including The Adventures of TinTin HD, which means that iPhone and iPad users also have access to Gameloft’s titles for a significantly discounted price. Gameloft may change prices in the App Store starting with December 29, the day when the App Store comes back to life. Apple’s app repository has paused its activity during the holidays, with updates, price changes and new app submissions being halted from December 22 to December 29, although users still have access to all the existing apps in the store. Come Thursday, Gameloft could lift App Store prices back to regular levels as it prepares for the Android Market game sale, so you’d better download the cheaper games while the prices are still frozen.
