Humble Indie Bundle 4 Hits $2 Million In Sales [Humble Indie Bundle 4 Passes Sales Milestone As The Clock Winds Down]
While you were ripping open presents and knocking back glasses of eggnog like you were paid to do it this past weekend, the Humble Indie Bundle 4 developers (along with Child’s Play charity and the American Red Cross) were raking in money. Over the weekend, Humble Indie Bundle 4 passed $2 million in sales, and it currently sits at $2,245,925.83 with just over a day left to go.

That’s a ton of money heading out to indie developers that deserve it and charities that need it. It’s no surprise that the fourth Humble Bundle has made so much money – not only has the popularity of the Humble Indie Bundle been growing steadily over the last year thanks to numerous releases, but Humble Indie Bundle 4 is definitely one of the best yet, offering games like Super Meat Boy, Jamestown, and Bit.Trip Runner.
Naming your own price for such a bundle is a hell of a deal, and judging by the sales figures, a lot of PC gamers know it. 419,000 people have purchased Humble Indie Bundle 4 so far, and as usual, Linux users sit at the top with an average purchase price of $10.41. Mac users keep their familiar spot in the middle with $7.57, and Windows users come in dead last with an average purchase of only $4.78. The overall average is currently $5.34, and that’s all you need to pay to get seven additional games including Cave Story+, VVVVVV, and Gratuitous Space Battles (as well as their soundtracks).

If you haven’t bought Humble Indie Bundle 4 yet, you have one day and two hours left to do so. After that, it’ll become unavailable, and you’ll have missed your shot to pick up 12 great indie games at whatever price you want. Trust me when I say that’s not a situation you want to find yourself in.
So, what does everyone think of Humble Indie Bundle 4? Do you think it’s one of the best yet, or do you disagree with me and think that it could be better? Head down to the comments section to share your thoughts!
