C Spire Wireless have announced their “just in time for holiday gift giving” smartphone. The handset is the Motorola Milestone X2 and it has come available for purchase as of today, December 22nd.

That being said, those who follow the mobile world closely may recognize this device as this is not the first time we have seen it. And for those scratching their heads as to where, this is available with Verizon Wireless as the Motorola Droid X2. Either way though, C Spire Wireless will have it available as of today and for a seemingly fair price.

If interested, the handset will set you back $99.99 on a two-year agreement. Though worth noting, that price comes after a $50 mail-in rebate, which means that you will need to be prepared to shell out $149.99 on the purchase day. Otherwise, C Spire is pushing the Milestone X2 towards both regular consumers and business users.

“Whether you’re a consumer or a business professional, the Motorola X2 is a device that can provide the ultimate personalized wireless experience,” said Sherry Stegall, senior vice president of Sales and Customer Operations for C Spire Wireless. “With its enterprise-ready security and IT-grade policies and rich media features, the Motorola X2 is perfect for work or play,” she added.

In terms of the features, the Milestone X2 brings along goodies such as a 4.3 inch scratch resistant and anti-reflective HD touchscreen display, dual-core 1GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage space, a microSD card slot, an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with 720pHD video recording and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Other perks include the Swype virtual keyboard, one-click Mirror Mode using HDMI, Adobe Flash Player support and Mobile Hotspot for up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices. The Milestone X2 is also a Google powered device which means you can expect to find all the Google services such as Gmail, Google Search, Google Maps, Google Voice and the Android Market.

And lastly, in terms of those business friendly features, those are noted as how the Milestone X2 is “enterprise-ready with security and IT-grade policies.”
