25 PS Vita Launch Titles Revealed For US
The PS Vita may be arriving late in areas like the US and Europe, but at least when it arrives on US shores, it will come with plenty of support. Sony has released a list of 25 games that will launch with the PS Vita on February 22nd, along with 10 games that have been designated as “launch window titles.” Head past the break for the full list.

In addition to these 35 games, Sony has also listed a number of accessories, most of which will be available on February 15th – seven days ahead of the PS Vita. The biggest surprise is that the prices of the PS Vita’s memory cards are slightly lower than what GameStop revealed last month. Take a look at the full list of games and accessories:

All of the accessories listed above will be releasing on February 15th, with the exception of the portable charger and the car adaptor, which both have a very non-specific release window of “Spring 2012.” That starter kit you see listed there for $39.99 includes a 4GB memory card, a card case, headphones, a cleaning cloth, protective film, and a pocket pouch to carry all of that in. Finally, Sony has said that PS Vita launch titles will cost between $9.99 and $49.99, but didn’t specify how much each individual game will cost.

It looks like someone at Sony took notes during the blunder that was the 3DS launch, because I have to say that this is one of the strongest launch line ups I’ve ever seen. Sony is definitely pushing the Vita hard, and I’m sure most handheld gamers are going to appreciate how well the PS Vita is supported from day one. Now all Sony needs to do is keep up the momentum up and give Vita owners a steady stream of releases, and I think it will have a hit on its hands.
