Rocksteady Thanks Fans With Free Batman: Arkham City Skin

Free Batman Inc. Skin, Paid DLC Bundle Packs Now Available For Batman: Arkham City Across All Platforms

We’re waist deeps in the holiday season, and even though you should be more concerned about giving this year, there’s nothing wrong with receiving some stuff on the side. If you own a copy of Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady game director Sefton Hill has a little present for you as a way to say thank you for turning Arkham City into one of 2011′s biggest games.

Starting right now, you can download the Batman Inc. skin free of charge from the Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Store, and Games For Windows Live Marketplace. As a little bonus, Hill also shared a cheat code that will unlock the ability to use skins before completing the main game. After you’ve selected a save file and landed on the main menu screen, all you have to do is press the following combination of buttons:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down

Like any old school cheat code, you’ll be given audio confirmation if you entered the code correctly, and after that you can beat up the scum of Arkham City in whatever outfit suits your fancy. If you’ve got some spare cash to burn, there’s also a pair of DLC packs available. The Arkham Bundle brings the Arkham City Skin Pack, the Robin Pack, and the Nightwing Pack together in one handy little package that will set you back $15/1200 MSP. If you can’t get enough of Arkham City‘s challenge maps, then you’ll probably want to check out the Challenge Map Pack, which offers the Joker’s Carnival, Iceberg Lounge, and Batcave challenge maps for $3/240 MSP.

Both of those packs should be available now for all three platforms. So how about it? What do you think of these Batman: Arkham City DLC offerings? Is anyone going to buy one of the new bundle packs? Head down to the comments section and let us know!
