Apple iPhone 4/4S Glowing Logo Kit

Want The Apple Logo On Your iPhone 4/4S To Glow? Snag This $42 DIY Kit & Make It Happen, Just Make Sure To Buy Before Apple Lawyers Come Charging

The Apple logo on the back of the iPhone is decent looking as far as logos go. But that being said, we imagine that some iPhone 4/4S users would probably like to spice things up a little bit. And well, for those who fall into that category, there is a DIY kit currently available that will make that logo glow.

Yup, you can change up your iPhone and have the logo on the back glow in a manner similar to how they glow on the Apple notebooks. Of course, there is a catch with this — the kit is coming out of China. Which that in itself is fine, however we are not all that certain that the Apple lawyers will feel the same way. In other words, if you are thinking you want this kit — you may want to act and buy sooner rather than later.

With the warning out of the way, the kit is priced at $42.90. So far this sounds pretty good. The kit is being touted as being easy to do, in fact, according to the details provided — it can be done in just about 5 minutes time. And maybe even nicer, seeing as this is only a simple swap of parts, it can also be easily revered. But with that, if you add this on, make sure you are not planning to visit an Apple Genius for support as this will void your warranty.

Otherwise, the Apple logo lights when the phone receives a call, a message and even when the alarm sounds. The light stays on for an additional 15 seconds after the display is turned off. In short, this sounds like a fairly easy way to impress your friends and/or family members. Or if nothing else, something that will allow your iPhone 4/4S to stand out from the crowd just a little bit.

And again, the kit is coming out of China so the shipping time may be a bit long. According to the details on the site, it may take as many as 14-days to ship. With that, and last but certainly not least, there are two available options — one that will allow the regular Apple logo to glow and a second that will turn the glowing Apple logo into a glowing Steve Jobs Tribute logo.
