Rogers Once Again Accepting Reservations For The Galaxy Nexus

We have known that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was coming to Canada. In fact, the handset has already come available for sale with both Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile. And well, that leaves the other carriers, one of which happens to be Rogers.

According to what we have heard from Rogers up till this point, they will have the Galaxy Nexus available sometime in January. In other words, the handset should be available with Rogers sometime in the coming weeks. But that being said, what we have seen with Rogers and the Galaxy Nexus up until this point has been sort of back and forth.

If you remember back, Rogers began accepting reservations for the handset only to later stop that process. Officially spoken, Rogers stated that they had stopped the reservations due to circumstances beyond their control. Anyway, some may speculate that the reservation process came to a temporary end due to the exclusivity with Bell and Virgin Mobile. Of course, on the flip side, that does not seem to matter all that much anymore as the reservations are once again available.

That being said, those who are choosing to get their Galaxy Nexus with Rogers can now move forward with a reservation. The process is being handled by way of the aptly named Rogers Reservation System. And while you will not have to shell out the full purchase price just yet, you will have to spend $40 to make the reservation. Of course, that $40 will later be applied to your purchase.

Otherwise, according to details from Rogers, in order to place a reservation — your account must be in good standing and that “for each wireless number account there is a limit of one device per family.” Bottom line, these details should sound fairly standard for anyone that has used the Rogers Reservation System in the past.
