Nintendo Issues Release Schedule For Early 2012

Nintendo Assigns Release Dates To Kid Icarus Uprising & Rhythm Heaven Fever In Q1 Release Schedule

2011 may have been a slow year for the Nintendo faithful, but according to the planned release schedule Nintendo issued today, things look like they’ll turn around in the first part of 2012. Nintendo’s release schedule spans the Wii, 3DS, and DS, and you can find the full list of releases posted after the jump.

Unfortunately, it looks like most of Nintendo’s first quarter releases will be on the 3DS, with only six games listed for the Wii and one for WiiWare. Standouts include Kid Icarus: Uprising (March 23rd) and Resident Evil: Revelations (February 7th) on 3DS, Rhythm Heaven Fever (February 13th) on Wii, and addictive platformer VVVVVV on the eShop. Nintendo also gave us a release date for the fabled Circle Pad Pro add-on, which will be launching alongside Resident Evil: Revelations on February 7th. Take a look at the full list of releases:
