Humble Indie Bundle 4 Launches With Super Meat Boy, Jamestown
Another day, another bundle of indie games. After a number of game and publisher specific bundles like the Humble Voxatron Debut and the Humble Introversion Bundle, the original Humble Bundle returns with Humble Indie Bundle 4, and this one looks like it’s the best bundle yet.

That’s because purchasers are getting Super Meat Boy, Bit.Trip Runner, Shank, Jamestown, and NightSky HD in this package. As always, you name your own price for the bundle, all of the games are multiplatform and DRM free, and part of your purchase price goes to help the American Red Cross and Child’s Play charity.
Naturally, this wouldn’t be a Humble Bundle without bonus games for those who pay more than the average purchase price, but this time around, the bonuses are being offered from the start. Paying more than the average (which, as of this writing, sits at $4.88) will net you copies of Cave Story+ and Gratuitous Space Battles.
There have been some great bundles in the past year, but every single game in this bundle is a winner and each is worth more than you’ll probably pay for the bundle as a whole. Humble Indie Bundle 4 is off to a great start too – total payments are closing in on $400,000 fast and over 70,000 bundles have been purchased so far. As is typically the case, Linux users are the most generous of the bunch, paying an average $8.76 for the bundle, while Mac users come in second with $6.57, and Windows users bring up the rear with an average purchase price of only $4.46.
What do you think of this latest Humble Bundle? Are you going to purchase one for yourself, or will you be taking a pass? Head down to the comments section to share your thoughts, and keep it tuned here to TFTS – we’ll be sure to update you if more games are added to Humble Indie Bundle 4!
