AT&T Launches The Huawei Fusion Smartphone As A GoPhone Device
Those looking for a pre-paid smartphone and preferring something on the AT&T network may want to check out the recently released smartphone. The handset is the Huawei Fusion and it is currently available by way of Walmart as an AT&T branded GoPhone.

That being said, while Walmart appears to be the only retailer to have the Fusion at the moment — we suspect that will soon change. In short, we suspect that the Fusion will also soon be available direct with AT&T as well as everywhere else that GoPhone capable devices are found.
Moving past the where to buy and into the how much and the specs — Walmart is selling the Huawei Fusion for $109.87. And just to clarify, that is a contract-free $109.87. In other words, simply buy the phone and then get some service to go along with.
The Huawei Fusion is sporting the model number of U8652 and it arrives as a “stylish blue camera phone” with features to include;
- 3.5 inch (320 x 480) touchscreen display
- 600MHz processor
- microSD card slot
- GPS
- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
- FM Radio with RDS receiver
- 1400 mAh battery
- 3.2 megapixel rear-facing camera with video recording
- Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread
Bottom line, this may not be the most exciting device on the market these days — but at the same time, for the price it seems more than fair. Especially considering you will only be stuck with it for as long as you want as opposed to two-years. And if nothing else, at least the handset is running Gingerbread. Of course, it will likely always be running Gingerbread, but then again, you should be buying your tech and gadgets for what they can do as opposed to what they may be able to do in the future.
And lastly, for those who prefer to do all their shopping online, Walmart also has the AT&T GoPhone Pre-Paid cards available online with email delivery.
