Samsung Focus Flash Drops To $0.99 (On A Two-Year Agreement) With AT&T
AT&T launched the Samsung Focus Flash along with the Samsung Focus S back towards the early part of November. The handset (the Focus Flash) came available with a $49.99 price point and while that seemed to be on the fair side given the specs, it seems as if AT&T wanted the handset to cost even less.

That being said, AT&T has dropped the price of the Samsung Focus Flash to $0.99. Basically they chopped $49 off of the purchase price. Of course, the $0.99 price point still requires the two-year agreement. But otherwise, those interested can now get a fairly solid Windows Phone smartphone for less than a buck.
Also worth noting, while this seems to be a nice price drop, AT&T did this all rather quietly and given that –we suspect this may only be a temporary price cut. Needless to say, if this is something that you may want, better not wait all that long or you are running the risk of missing out.
With that, we know the price and we offered the ‘this is only temporary’ warning so lets get into the remaining bits — the specs. The Samsung Focus Flash brings features to include a 3.7 inch (480 x 800) Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal storage and a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus, LED flash and 720p HD video recording. In addition, the handset is running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and is compatible with the AT&T 4G (HSPA+) network.
Other goodies include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 3.5mm headphone jack, a 1500 mAh battery, a weight of 4.1 ounces and measurements of 4.57 x 2.31 x 0.43 inches. And lastly, as one would expect with a Windows Phone device, there is also Internet Explorer 9 along with support for Zune, Windows Live, Exchange ActiveSync and mobile productivity courtesy of Microsoft Office apps.
Bottom line here, it is Windows Phone for slightly less than a dollar.
