Soulcalibur V Achievement List Leaked Ahead Of Release
Strangely enough, getting 1000 Gamerscore in an Xbox 360 title is more important than actually playing a good game to some gamers. The phenomenon that is achievements, trophies, and the players who relentlessly pursue them is still something of a mystery, and we’ll probably never know why achievements are so important to so many gamers out there.

But hey, who are we to argue with something that’s popular? You like unlocking achievements, and even though we’re not quite sure what drives the addiction, it isn’t our place to deny your fix. Normally achievement lists are released just prior to a game’s release, but in the case of Soulcalibur V, the achievement list has been leaked more than a month before its release.
Getting 1000G in Soulcalibur V isn’t going to be easy for most players, and it’s going to be downright impossible for those who don’t play over Xbox Live. A total of 300G can only be obtained through online play, so if you’re one of the many gamers that doesn’t have their Xbox connected to the internet (or alternatively, chose not to shell out the $60 a year for Xbox Live Gold), you’re simply out of luck.
Other than that, we’ve got your usual peppering of easy and difficult achievements. Take a look at the full list, as published by Xbox360achievements.org:

There you have it – 50 achievements worth a total of 1000 Gamerscore. Obviously achievements like History Repeats and A Soul Coalecses are going to be easier to get than, say, Conqueror of the Arena, which requires that you win 50 matches over Xbox Live. Any fighting game fan knows that players can take fighting games very seriously, which will prove to be a hurdle in online play, especially if you join the Soulcalibur V scene after its popularity has dropped off a bit.
So, what do you think will be the hardest Soulcalibur V achievement to get? Do you think you can get the full 1000 Gamerscore? Head down to the comments section and share your thoughts!
