YouTube Makeover Now Complete: New Look for Homepage & Social Networking Included
We knew this was coming as Google has been working relentlessly on a new design for its online services and YouTube wasn’t going to be an exception. Just a couple of days ago we told you that the horizontal black menu bar that so many of you hated was going to be replaced by the next-gen version and the changes were soon visible across Google’s range of web offerings.

Today we’re looking at YouTube modifications, as the popular video sharing site has gone through a massive facelift. As you can see in the video below, there’s a “new look, and it all starts on the homepage.” Naturally we’re that means the search bar dominates the new menu bar and there’s lots of social networking integration. If you ask me I was kind of used to the way the “old” YouTube looked like and, of all the Google services that are currently available, it didn’t really need a makeover, although some of you may very well disagree.
But now the Cosmic Panda is in town – no, seriously, that’s the name of the new design that Google is using for its services – and YouTube looks a lot different than it did just a few hours ago.
Unexpectedly, the new YouTube isn’t trying to push Google’s Google+ social networking service in your face as there’s also Facebook integration, which is great, considering how popular The Social Network really is when compared to Google+.
Furthermore, Google seems to focus a lot more on Channels, and it’s even ready to suggest the kind of Channels that would you may like, no matter how freaky that sounds especially now when the web is buzzing about the new scandal in town, the Carrier IQ smartphone-tracking, privacy-breaking, security-threatening debacle.
Getting back on track, the YouTube design has changed for good, and whether you like it or not, is there to stay until Google decides it’s not good anymore. So let us know why you love it or hate it by using the handy comments section below!

I hate YouTube’s new “look” because its completely retarted! You can’t even personalize it in any real way; All you’re allowed to do now is add more trash to an already over-cluttered screen!
