The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the most talked about Android smartphone right now, but that doesn’t mean North American customers, and specifically U.S.-based Android fans, are getting any closer to a release date.

The Federal Communications Commission has earlier expressed its concerns over AT&T’s proposed acquisition of rival telecommunications provider T-Mobile from its parent company. In recent developments, the FCC is reportedly seeking that the deal be scrutinized by administrative law courts.

Apple and HTC are engaged in several lawsuits, with each company suing, or being sued by the other on account of alleged patent violation. So far Apple is winning the fight, and the Cupertino-based company has scored one more victory against HTC.

I bet you didn’t see this coming, especially with the gigantic legal battle between the two companies, but Samsung has launched a new commercial whose whole point is to make fun of Apple’s recently launched iPhone 4S.

On October 14 Apple launched the iPhone 4S in seven markets and then gradually rolled it out in various other markets, on October 28 and November 11. In the process Apple broke several sales records, the most notable being the 4 million iPhone 4S sales during the launch weekend alone.
