Skyrim Patch Hopefully Coming Next Week
Skyrim has been out for just over a week now, and even though it’s still immensely popular with gamers – it had a peak of 232,038 concurrent players on Steam today – many out there are still struggling with game breaking bugs and annoying glitches.

First and foremost, let me just say that my heart goes out to those people who can’t continue their game thanks to broken quest progression or random crushing. Skyrim is the best game RPG in a long time, and to have to be stuck dealing with bug and glitches that make the game unplayable is definitely an unenviable situation.
Anyway, we’ll move away from the corny sentiment for a moment in order to deliver some news about the upcoming (and needed) patch that Bethesda will be delivering soon. Bethesda’s good old VP of marketing, Pete Hines, is back at it again, taking to Twitter once more to provide us with an update on Bethesda’s latest Skyrim patch. According to him, the patch should be out some time next week.
However, be warned that the time frame Hines gave hasn’t been set in stone yet. The patches are waiting for approval on Xbox 360 and PS3 though, and Hines says that the studio will be getting the PC patch out the door soon, so it seems more than likely that we’ll see this Skyrim patch available on at least some platforms at some point next week.
I guess I’ve just been lucky, because I have yet to experience any game breaking bugs yet, and Skyrim is eating up almost all of my playtime. The game has crashed on me a couple of times, but luckily Bethesda had the foresight to include an autosave system that is very generous with how often it backs up your game. Is anyone having some game breaking experiences? If so, head down to the comments section to tell us what your problems are, and keep it tuned here to TFTS for more news on this highly desired patch!
