AT&T Announces The Release Date & Pricing For The Samsung Captivate Glide & Samsung Doubletime Smartphones
AT&T offered up the release date and the pricing for the Pantech Pocket a few days back. And well, it looks like that release date will be shared by two additional handsets — the Samsung Captivate Glide and the Samsung Doubletime.

Yup, AT&T has recently confirmed the release date and in-turn dubbed November 20th as being “All About Android.” In terms of the pricing, the Captivate Glide will be the more expensive of the bunch, coming in at $149.99. The Doubletime will be $49.99, which some will remember is the same price the Pantech Pocket will launch at. And just to clarify, all three prices will require a two-year agreement.
Moving past the prices and the release date, lets get into the specs for each. The Samsung Captivate Glide (pictured above) will bring features to included 4G HSPA+ 21 connectivity along with a 4 inch (480 x 800) touchscreen display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 8 megapixel rear facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In addition, the handset will also have a dual-core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.

The Samsung Doubletime (pictured above) will be a bit more of a basic device as compared to the Captivate Glide. This handset will feature a 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, 600MHz Qualcomm processor, microSD card slot with 2GB card included and running Android 2.2 Froyo.
And lastly, just to back off that All About Android comment for a moment, AT&T is also expected to launch the HTC Titan that same day. Which for those not as familiar with the Titan, that is a Windows Phone device. The Titan will be priced at $199 (on a two-year agreement) and bring features to include a 4.7 inch SLCD touchscreen display, single-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and HSPA+ connectivity.
Bottom line, regardless if you are siding with Android or Windows Phone, one thing is certain — November 20th will be a big day for AT&T.
