Verizon Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Training Materials Leak
While we are waiting for Verizon to come forward and offer something official in terms of a release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone, it looks like the carrier has begun showing their employees the ins-and-outs of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Or more specifically, it looks like Verizon has begun showing their employees the Quick Reference Guide that should give them the highlights of Ice Cream Sandwich. In other words, we still suspect that many of the TFTS readers will know more about Android 4.0, but with that — remember to use any knowledge wisely.
Anyway, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Quick Reference Guide has recently been leaked and includes just two pages. The guide has the expected overview of Android 4.0 and then goes into the features such as the new user interface, improved browser, interactive widgets and more.
All said and done, none of this is earth shattering news, however it is refreshing to see Verizon using talking points such as how you can use the Google Music Beta to listen to your music, or how you can purchase and download books from the Google Books app. Heck, they also tout the ability to rent HD movies directly from the Android Market.
Bottom line here, we sort of expect these features to be pushed given this will be a Google Experience handset, however it still seems odd not to see the mention of all the Verizon VZ branded services. If nothing else, this could be the first time some Verizon users would be hearing about music, movies and books coming from Google.
Of course, while it is nice to see Verizon beginning the prep work for the release of Android 4.0 and the Galaxy Nexus — I am thinking that anyone reading this is probably more interested in when they can buy. In the meantime, check out the guide in the gallery below.
