Assassin's Creed: Revelations DLC Landing Next Month
Assassin’s Creed: Revelations hasn’t even been out for a full 24 hours yet, but now that you have it, it’s time to talk DLC. That’s right, Ubisoft has already announced the first two DLC packs for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, and even though you’re probably not even finished with the main game, you know you want it.

The first pack Ubisoft announced is the Ancestors Character Pack. Predictably, this adds a motley crew of new characters to use in Revelations‘ multiplayer. When the Ancestors Character Pack launches on December 13th, you’ll be able to add the Privateer, Corsair, Brigand, and Gladiator to your multiplayer rotation, and you’ll be able to do it on the cheap too, with the price of the pack only coming in at $3.99/320 MSP. That’s not a bad deal, and given the popularity of Assassin’s Creed‘s multiplayer, I’m sure Ubisoft is going to clean up with that pack alone.
Unfortunately, that’s all the info we’re getting on this round of DLC, however – Ubisoft teased a second pack but decided to keep it under wraps for the moment. It did announce, though, that both packs are currently available for pre-order. Why you would need to pre-order DLC is completely beyond me, but given the amount of publishers and stores that put DLC up for pre-order, there must be some people out there who enjoy doing it.
So how is everyone enjoying Assassin’s Creed: Revelations? I’ve been hearing some good things so far, but I’m still up to my eyeballs with things to do in Skyrim. Anyway, is anyone out there actually surprised that Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed: Revelations DLC on the same day it launched? Will you be picking up the Ancestors Character Pack? Head down to the comments section to sound off, and keep it tuned here at TFTS – we’ll have more details about that mysterious second DLC pack when Ubisoft shares them!
