Digital Storm Brings Out The ODE Level 4 Gaming PC Complete With Potent Intel Hardware
We got word today from our friends out at the Max Borges Agency about a new kind of gaming PC that’s going to offer up some downright impressive specs on it. This particular beast is called the ODE Level 4 from Digital Storm, and even for a gaming PC, it’s looking pretty exciting thanks to a lot of boost from Intel as well as a variety of other specs that shouldn’t fail to excite the PC gamers out there.

You know when the words “gaming PC” come into play, you can usually expect two things: a spec loadout that’s almost unnecessarily powerful for its era and a price tag to match. The ODE Level 4 will disappoint on neither point, offering up some deeply impressive specs. We kick things offer with a hexa-core Intel Core i7 3930K processor running at 3.2 GHz, backed up by the Asus Sabertooth X79 motherboard. It only gets better from there as you consider that it’s also packing 16 gigs of DDR3 RAM, as well as three Nvidia GTX 570 video cards, a full terabyte hard drive backed up by a 120 gig solid state drive, a 1050 watt Corsair Pro 1050HX power supply, an Asetek Liquid CPU Cooler system, and even a bit of internal lighting just for aesthetics. It will even boast a combination Blu-ray player and DVD writer (though why they didn’t just go to Blu-ray reader and writer is beyond me), and the whole thing will run under Windows 7 Home Premium and will be backed up by a three year limited warranty.
It’s hard to deny the sheer potency of those specs; it’s a good thing I knew about the internal lighting (which is actually red lighting) up front, or I might have thought the thing was overheating from the second it started up. But like I said above, the second part of any gaming PC announcement is also a massive price tag, and the Digital Storm ODE Level 4 will not disappoint there either. They’re reportedly asking for fully $3399 for one of these, and they’re available right now out at Digital Storm’s website.
I’d call this an exercise in overkill except for the fact that it’s working; a check of Digital Storm’s website reveals that all pre-built units have been sold out. But what do you guys think about this? Exactly the kind of thing you want on your desktop to hand a whole lot of losses to your competition? Or way too much hardware for your needs? Either way, we want to hear from you, and the comments section is waiting below to do exactly that.
