Samsung Galaxy W Rumored For November 24th Release With Bell

Bell Mobility Expected To Release The Samsung Galaxy W On November 24th, Pricing Details Have Yet To Be Leaked Or Announced]

The last we heard anything in terms of the Samsung Galaxy W and Bell Mobility was just a few days back when we learned that the carrier was planning to launch the handset sometime in the not to distant future. And well, while we are still waiting on the official announcement from Bell — it looks like we now have the release date.

The release date information is coming by way of a leaked internal document from Bell. In other words, the date can still change. But that being said, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy W will be available with Bell beginning on November 24th.

Of course, we still need some more information on the price. And speaking of that, currently in the rumor mill, according to MobileSyrup the Galaxy W will be $300 without the three-year agreement. In other words, it sounds like the Galaxy W will arrive low-priced (if not free) for those willing to sign a three-year agreement.

Either way though, given the release date is pegged for November 24th (just shy of two-weeks from today), we suspect that Bell will be coming forward with some official details fairly soon.

Otherwise, just to offer a brief recap as to what one can expect to see in terms of the specs — the Samsung Galaxy W will feature a 3.7 inch (480 x 800) touchscreen display, single-core 1.4GHz processor, VGA quality front facing camera, a 5 megapixel rear facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. In addition, the handset will arrive with a 1500 mAh battery, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot for your additional storage needs.

And lastly, according to the same leaked internal document, the Samsung Galaxy W will be available “exclusively” with Bell.

Bottom line, it looks like Bell will soon have another nicely spec’d (and still affordably priced) Android handset coming available. And sure, this may not be the handset that everyone is dreaming of, but at the same time it seems to have more than enough to offer.
