BLACK FRIDAY: Walmart Posts Its Black Friday Ad

Walmart Puts Up A Hefty Array Of Black Friday Deals, Some Better Than Others

Easily one of the biggest deals that people wait for every year, when it comes to Black Friday deals, has to be Walmart’s set. Most recognize Walmart as a low price leader throughout the regular year, so it’s safe to figure that, come the day after Thanksgiving, they’re going to pull out all the stops to make an incredible package of deals for you. And as it turns out, this year will be no exception, though some will be better than others.

Basically, Walmart’s looking to split its deals in to three distinctly separate strata, starting with a set kicking in at ten PM Thanksgiving night, then a second set heading up to midnight on Black Friday morning, and finally, a round of eight AM Black Friday deals.

The Thanksgiving Day event will kick off with a variety of great items, including:

  • Emerson 32 inch 720p 60 Hz television: $188
  • Emerson 40 inch 1080p 60 Hz television: $248
  • LG Blu-ray player: $49
  • HP 15.6 inch laptop with three gigs RAM and 320 gig hard drive: $248
  • Then the fun shifts into high gear for 12:01 AM on Black Friday, with a healthy array of deals including:
  • Samsung 32 inch 720p 60 Hz LCD television: $278
  • Samsung 40 inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD television: $428
  • Samsung 46 inch 1080p 60 Hz LCD television: $598
  • Samsung 51 inch 720p 600 Hz plasma television: $498
  • Philips wi-fi Blu-ray home theater system: $178
  • Sony Connected Blu-ray player: $79
  • LG wi-fi Blu-ray player: $89
  • Amazon Kindle: $79
  • Samsung Galaxy Prevail (Boost Mobile): $69
  • Kodak C1450 Digital Camera: $49
  • Canon EOS Rebel T1 DSLR: $479
  • Compaq Presario 15.6 inch AMD Dual Core laptop with two gigs RAM and 250 gig hard drive: $198
  • HP 17.3 AMD Dual Core laptop with four gigs RAM and 500 gig hard drive: $388
  • HP desktop with 18.5 inch monitor, three gigs RAM, and 500 gig hard drive: $298

There’s a lot more than that to be had, of course, as the deals also go off into departments we don’t usually cover. But either way, you should find quite a bit here that catches your eye. Some, naturally, are better deals than others, but some are also looking pretty nice in their own right.

But what do you guys think? Is this the kind of deals roster that’s making you think about shaking off the sleep of your turkey coma and going shopping? Or is this too weak to get you out of bed early? No matter what you think about it, we want to hear from you, so head on down to the comments section below and let’s talk Walmart Black Friday deals!

The sale looks great! Im from VT, and from the way our group that went shopping Black Friday, understood that the store opened at midnight but the “sales” started at 5:00am. What I didn’t like was the fact that they handed out slips to the people that were there at midnight.I stood by an item for over an hour waiting for them to unwrap it at “5:00am” only to find out they had handed out slips at midnight and there was none left. If they want to hand slips out fine but at least mnake the public aware that if there is an item that they truly want to get there at midnight because you definatley wont get it at “5:00am” when the “sale starts”

    2. Paula–a VERY good point. It’s always a good idea to check a little ahead of the run and make sure there aren’t any special terms or conditions before making the trip out.
