BLACK FRIDAY: Black Flyday App Announced, Offers Way To Track Down The Biggest Deals Out There
We got in a tip from our friends out at the Max Borges Agency, who sent word about the very imminent release of the Black Flyday app for Android devices, and if you’re planning to hit the road in search of big bargains in two weeks, then you might want to have this in your quiver to make the bargain hunt a little smoother.

Basically, what the folks at Iconosys–the ones behind the Black Flyday app have done–is give you a streamlined way to keep in touch with your various bargain hunting buddies as you go forth to find the best deals on most anything. You’ll be able to pre-set a perimeter (if you’re in New York, deals in Los Angeles don’t do you a fat lot of good unless you’re ready to hop a flight, in which case you’re probably not that concerned about saving a buck on Black Friday anyway) in which to find your best deals. Not only will you be able to notify other people where the deals are, you’ll also be able to see what other people are saying about the deals they’ve found. You’ll have GPS connectivity so you can see just where the deals in question are located, as well as the option to shift your location as needed. After all, if your deals are set for Las Vegas and you want to go shopping in Reno, well, they may be within driving distance, but the one won’t be much help against the other.
You’ll be able to download this item for absolutely nothing ahead of Black Friday, but if you pick it up after the 25th, you’ll have to shell out $9.99 for it, making this one one to get in a hurry if you want to get in on it.
Admittedly, the idea of social networking for Black Friday deals sounds a little far-fetched–after all, stopping in the middle of a shopping run to tell everybody else where the good stuff is would seem to be a difficult maneuver to pull off even assuming you were sufficiently altruistic to tip everyone off–but it’s entirely possible, and we’ve seen this kind of thing happen before.
But what do you guys think here? Figure that the Black Flyday app could really be a help on your next big Black Friday run? Or do you think this one isn’t going to get off the ground? No matter what you think, the comments section below is waiting for you to weigh in on this one!
