Samsung Galaxy Nexus Launch Pushed To December 2nd In UK, Say Reports
Strange note for those of you out in the UK who are looking to get your hands on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus–the popular phone may be encountering some delays, as measured by a note found at Amazon’s UK branch, and pictured below.

Originally, the launch date was set to hit November 17th, which is roughly nine days out from right now. But now, the listing out at Amazon’s UK branch has bumped that date clear back to December 2nd, without much in the way of explanation as to just what’s triggered the delay. But what’s particularly unusual about this delay is that it doesn’t seem substantiated by much of anything at all.
Samsung hasn’t noted any changes, and most of the current word on release dates for this one is still hovering around the November 17th mark, although that number has seen a lot of changes and varies from carrier to carrier. Thus, it’s entirely possible that the UK delay is simply a delay at Amazon, as opposed to a complete delay across all carriers. After all, we’ve heard in just the last two days that Verizon’s looking to get it in on the 21st, and US Cellular won’t be joining in the fray until sometime in 2012.
The exact release date on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been something of a tossed salad, especially recently, so it’s been worth keeping an eye on for those who are interested in getting one. It’s hard to fathom just why Samsung’s keeping everyone in the dark like this, though, but we should find out before too much longer has passed if for no other reason than we’re running out of time until those dates start hitting.
So what do you guys think here? What’s behind the endless delays and assorted strange bits that Samsung’s placed around the release of the Galaxy Nexus? Will we be seeing this one sooner rather than later? No matter what you think about this one, we definitely want to hear from you, so head on down to the comments section below and tell us just what you think!

I’m getting real anxious about the Galaxy Nexus and wish we’d hear something concrete about the release date.
Verizon seems to be taking the brunt of the negative feedback, but my guess is that it isn’t their fault. When Google demonstrated the GN in Hong Kong, there were bugs and I suspect that has a lot to do with the delay. If that’s true, I’d rather wait until they get the bugs worked out, but I’d be less anxious if I knew what the expected release date is.
Verizon really doesnt want to sell or support this phone because it is not theirs but infact a google phone. They are not allowed to include all of the necessary bloatware required to be a true verizon phone. Thus no love.
