Apple Now Setting Up Express Lanes at Retail Stores
Apple is expecting an influx of sales from its own Apple Retail Stores this holiday season, and is having overnight sessions with staff to set up Express Lanes. Are you going to be among the countless Apple Store buyers these next few weeks?

9to5Mac reports that Apple retail stores are holding “overnights” for their staff to setup Express Lanes. This might be related to the recent news that Apple is now prioritizing iPhone shipments to its retail stores around the world. Thus, instead of getting users to buy their iPhones from the mobile carriers, Apple is encouraging iPhone buyers to get their devices from the Apple store instead.
Also, Apple is now encouraging users to make purchases and check out through the updated App Store application, which lets iOS device owners pay for purchases straight from their iTunes account. App Store buyers will get priority at Apple Stores, and items will be available in just 12 minutes after checking out.
Apple has traditionally used its Express Lanes to service buyers during the holiday rush, and these areas are usually stocked with popular Apple devices and accessories for quick transactions. Express Lanes are usually stocked with all iPod and iPad models, and have several Apple Specialists on hand to assist with a purchase. Similarly, some stores (like in Hong Kong) have express counters all year round to deal with quick walk-in transactions.
No new devices are in sight, though. This particular all-nighter by retail store employees will be used to install marketing materials, banners, device screen savers and the like. Which Apple device(s) are you buying this holiday season?
