Apple Makes Its Own Stores A Priority With iPhone Shipments

Want An iPhone 4S? Head To An Apple Store First

Even though it’s been quite a while since the iPhone 4S was released, demand for it stays strong, and people who are yet to get the device may find themselves unable to get their hands on one. Every avenue that sells the iPhone 4S finds itself out of stock to offer its customers — and yes, that happens even to Apple Stores. It just so happens that Apple’s flagship stores get replenished with stocks a lot more often than others.

According to Deutsche Bank’s Chris Whitmore, Apple Stores in the United States run out of iPhone 4S units on a daily basis. But whenever a customer arrives to an empty iPhone 4S shelf, Apple Store employees tell them to make an online appointment to get a device early the next day. Meanwhile, shipments to other avenues like carrier stores and retailers are a bit patchy and spontaneous.

So if you’re planning to buy an iPhone 4S anytime soon, find your way to the nearest Apple Store.
