Verizon Wireless To Offer Limited Time Only Double-Data Promotion Beginning On November 8th

Verizon To Offer A Two-For-One 4G LTE Data Special, Buy 2GB Get 4GB Or Buy 5GB Get 10GB

While we are not all that certain how long this offer is going to last, it looks like those who are considering making the move to Verizon may want to wait until at least November 8th to sign up. The reason, beginning tomorrow, Verizon will begin offering a new promotional offering on 4G LTE data plans.

The details are rather vague in terms of when this will end. At the present time, we do know that the promo will kick off on November 8th and that it will be available for a yet to be specified “limited time.” That being said, it does seem like a fairly attractive offer for those who are not grandfathered in on one of the now unavailable unlimited data plans.

Anyway, without any further adieu, the offer is simple — two-for-one data. In other words, buy a 2GB data plan for $30 and get 4GB of data for $30. Or alternatively, buy 5GB of data for $50 and get 10GB of data for $50. Sounds like a fairly nice offering.

Otherwise, in addition to new customers, existing customers will also be able to take advantage of this offer. Though, for existing customers, they will need to either call into customer service or login into their Verizon account using the My Verizon portal so they can request the change be made to their account.

Bottom line, this may not be an unlimited data offering, but giving 4GB for the same price they were giving 2GB sounds like a good deal either way. And plus, for the words that many hate to see — in most cases and for most people — 4GB may as well be unlimited. That being said, I am speaking with a forked tongue on that one as I still have my unlimited data plan with Verizon and love it.

Im have the Droid Bionic and love it.. Amazing fast downloads, movies and well you name it.. Just switched to 4GB for $30 and i am very happy with that.. Just letting the world of Verizons Unlimited data users know that you have Unlimited now, but in time your phone WILL be getting old, or better versions are going to come out and once you finnaly get your new phone, You might be at just 2GB.. Unlimited was a cool thing of the past but the new 4G phones make a lot of cell phones look like a joke…. 4G phones are exactly like a really good computer, says verizon and after seeing the actual homepages of websites and the flash player came up with a video as well as every other information that comes up on the main website..

I used to have the ” Lg Chocolate Touch” for almost 2 years but you can forsure see the changes in speed and downloads and im still in thr 3G area.. So i know there is a big change.. When im in 4G its 10 times faster.. Once i was at a website that said you must have a fast/ good computer because this 18.4MB could take up to at least 18 min to fully download..My phone did it less that 6 seconds and i was in 3G still lol .. While reading through the article thats when i read it could take up to 18 min..

Love my phone and they said soon we will have 4G in our area so I cant wait..

Even when i had my last phone, i was on youtube, emails, and different webpages all the time and for hours and i never past 2GB so for me 4GB is truly unlimited..
