Samsung Focus Flash & Focus S Smartphones Now Available With AT&T

AT&T Releases A Pair Of Windows Phone Mango Smartphones, The $49.99 Samsung Focus Flash & The $199.99 Samsung Focus S]

We had known that AT&T was getting ready to release a trio of Windows Phone Mango handsets. And well, it looks like two out of those three handsets have since come available for sale. The models that are now available include the Samsung Focus Flash and the Samsung Focus S. Still missing from the lineup, the HTC Titan.

That being said, given AT&T was fairly forthcoming in terms of this release, most of the release details and specs come as confirmation. Needless to say, they still deserve some coverage. And in that spirit, lets begin with the pricing. The Samsung Focus Flash is $49.99 and the Samsung Focus S is $199.99. And just to clarify, both of those prices assume a two-year agreement.

Moving past that and into the specs. To begin with, both the Focus Flash and the Focus S are running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. In addition, they both share some specs including a HSPA+ connectivity, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm processor and 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.

Breaking these down into individual devices, lets start with the lower priced option, the Samsung Focus Flash. This handset sports a 3.7 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display, 5 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 8GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS and a 1500 mAh battery. The Focus Flash measures in at 4.57 x 2.31 x 0.43 inches and weighs in at 4.1 ounces.

Next up, the Samsung Focus S. This handset has a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 16GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS and a 1650 mAh battery. The Focus Flash measures in at 4.96 x 2.63 x 0.33 inches and weighs in at 3.9 ounces.

And with that, we are still waiting on word of the release for the HTC Titan, however AT&T also has the original Samsung Focus as well as the HTC HD7S, both of which are available for $49.99 and $99.99 respectively.
