AT&T's LTE To Land in New York City
AT&T began rolling out its 4G LTE connection back in September, offering it to five initial cities around the United States. The first five are Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Now, it’s been announced that the AT&T LTE is moving towards New York City.

At Mashable’s Media Summit back in Friday, Larry Solomon (SVP of Communications for AT&T) confirmed that the service will be available in New York City “very soon,” though refused to specify an exact or even a projected date. The company hopes to have LTE up and available in 15 cities (and to 70 million people) by the end of 2011. No extra charge will be required if you already have an LTE-capable handset — just be in one of those cities, and enjoy the faster download speeds.
Verizon claims its LTE network offers download speeds 10 times faster than what its 3G network can offer, though it doesn’t have a lot of 4G phones out in the market yet besides HTC Vivid and Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

“Very soon”… we’ve all heard that before: From their 3G capacity issues to their over network reliability to an overloaded network etc… same story, different tune and equally disappointing result.
So why has’nt there been any update news on ATT’s 4G LTE coming to New York City? I have been waiting and wondering when the announcement will be. I am paying for a 4G LTE Hotspot 2 year plan but am not getting any 4G LTE for the price paid. What’s the latest news/status on this roll out, anyone know?
