Apple Reportedly Testing Siri on Other Apple Devices
One of the most (if not the most) distinct features of the iPhone 4S is Siri. It’s seen as the cause for the phenomenal sale of the iPhone 4S, and has become an internet darling even before the new iPhone was released to the public. Some people have been working on porting the Siri to other Apple devices, but if this rumor ever comes true, the ports might not be needed at all.

Jailbreaknation claims to have sources from someone “close to Apple,” who says the company is testing Siri on other devices, particularly the iPhone 4. In fact (or so says the source), Apple has given employees a special software that allows them to use Siri on Apple devices outside of the iPhone 4S. Ever the secretive company, though, Apple has reportedly begun restoring stock software on everyone’s gadgets within the company to prevent accidental leak to non-employees (iPhones lost in a couple of bars, anyone?).
How do you feel about the possibility of Apple releasing Siri to other iDevices in the future?

If they are going to release Siri for the iphone 4, why did I have to pay 650 for a 4s…… Apple needs to get it together.
That would be awesome if Siri came to the iPhone 4. Would I do the update? Yes but don’t know how much I would actually use it. It looks great for using it in the car. Gonna have to wait and see.
This is one of th most impactful apps I’ve seen and I would love it if they released it for iPhone 4. I’ve only had it for a few months and it would make me feel a lot better about buying into the Apple ecosystem so late.
Omg that would be so sweet if they had an Siri app for the iPhone 4 if so I hope soon
I would be jumping up and down of that happened!!!!!!!!!!!!
When this wasn’t released with ios 5 for all devices, I was sad. If this were to happen… I would be a very happy person.
Yeah, I bet a lot of people would be very excited to get Siri on their older Apple devices. Though I do feel bad for those who upgraded to iPhone 4S solely for Siri!
I wish that happens and if it doesn’t theres always option number 2.
What? I have been using Siri on my iPhone 4 for months. It quit working when 4s came out.
Id still would upgrade from iPhone 4 to 4s if the five never happens next year
Hey Kay, and all those hateraide drinkers out there that are complaining about other devices getting Siri, you need to grow up and STOP being so selfish. Your the botard that paid $650 for a 4S. The rest of us are either more intelligent than that or BROKE with narry an upgrade in sight. Look I understand the frustration but honestly it was your choice to pay that much and or upgrade your device. By the way, Siri isn’t the only new feature on the 4S in case you didn’t know that already. The thing is a mini iPad 2 so I don’t want to hear it. It isn’t fair to release a device only a year after the last that has a feature on it like Siri and not let all the other devoted Apple customers use it. If anyone should be mad it should be the rest of us for Apple being such greedy bi%#%es and doing this to drive sales up. Siri is only about 24mb in size, the brains are in a remote server so even a 3G can run Siri successfully. So yeah your right Kay, Apple does need to get it together and distribute Siri to the rest of us.
If Siri were to become available on older phones after a year or two, that would probably be okay. But if it were available just weeks after many of us paid a small fortune for Siri, that would be straining our loyalty to Apple beyond all reason.
Interesting that apple has not yet allowed iPad 2 users access to Siri , cannot be for technical reasons as they both use the A5 chip?
You are wrong voiceofthepeople!
