Sony Ericsson Reportedly Developing Xperia Arc HD
According to GSMArena source, a Sony Ericsson HD handset is in the works. The tipster says Sony Ericsson is working on a high-definition handset he/she is calling the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD with a 720p or 1280×720 pixels display and a 1080p video recording capability.

The phone will have the capacity to take high-definition still shots even while recording a video. The tipster also says the chipset used in the phone is “blazing fast.” All this information apparently comes from a major retailer from Europe, but it remains unnamed, so the information’s veracity couldn’t be proven.
This new phone is apparently slated to come out sometime in 2012, as it’s a bit too late for any new flagship phone announcements right now. The Holidays are fast approaching, and retailers are already gearing up for devices slated to come out this season.
But with all the superb Android phones (not to mention the new iPhone 4S and Windows Phone Mango devices) out there right now, do you think a new Sony Ericsson Xperia device will do well on the market?
