Rogers Re-Confirms, The Samsung Galaxy S II LTE Is Still On Track To Ship "This Week"
Back towards the end of October, Rogers opened up their reservation system to those who were looking to get first dibs on the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE smartphone. And well, at that time they promised that those who reserved early would have their device ship out “as early as next week.”

Of course, looking at this from the present day, that next week has turned into this week. And it is a week that is quickly coming to an end. Needless to say, that means Rogers has little time left if they plan to get these Galaxy S II LTE smartphones out.
But the good news with that, Rogers has offered up an official statement announcing that they will still be shipping this week.
“We have received shipment from Samsung. As of right now, we still expect it will ship this week as we originally communicated to customers. If that changes, I will let you know.”
In addition, the Rogers website is now reflecting the Galaxy S II LTE as being in-stock. Though, at the present time it does not appear to be up for order online. In fact, the Rogers website listed the handset with a “store locator” button as opposed to a buy now button. That being said, the Galaxy S II LTE comes priced at $199.99 on a three-year agreement or $649.99 to go no-term.
And lastly, for those who somehow missed all of the previous hype and chatter about this handset, lets offer a brief recap on the specs. The Samsung Galaxy S II LTE features a 4.5 inch (400 x 800) Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, an 8 megapixel rear facing camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
With that, those interested in getting a Galaxy S II LTE with Rogers may want to hit that “store locator” button and prepare to venture outside and away from the computer.
