Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Collection Coming Next Year

Fallout: New Vegas was easily one of the best games of 2010, but I know that there’s some of you out there that have yet to explore the Mojave Wasteland, or sit down for a conversation with the fabled Mr. House. If you fall into this category of people, I have just one question for you: what the hell is wrong with you?

No, no – it’s okay. No excuses are necessary. You’re a busy person, I understand. Hey, those Angry Birds aren’t going to get their eggs back without someone to repeatedly slingshot them into structures made of stone and glass, right? Anyway, the gaming gods are angry at you, but they’re willing to give you a shot a redemption.

All you need to do is buy the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition when it releases early next year. It has everything for the Mojave virgin! With this Ultimate Edition, you’ll be getting all of the game’s DLC, including Old World Blues, Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road, Courier’s Stash, and Gun Runner’s Arsenal.

As if that wasn’t enough, the four main DLCs will each raise New Vegas‘ level cap by 5, bringing the level cap up to a total of 50. There’s no word on pricing yet, but don’t be surprised if this package costs a full $50 or $60. It’ll be out in North America on February 7th, 2012, whereas Europeans won’t get their shot at the Ultimate Edition until February 10th.

All in all, it sounds like a pretty awesome deal to me. Of course, I probably won’t be picking one up because I’ve already played through New Vegas and expect to be fully immersed in Skyrim when February rolls around, but if you’re never played Fallout: New Vegas before, make no mistake, you owe it to yourself to pick up the Ultimate Edition when it launches next year!
