Droid RAZR Release Date Actually November 11, 2011
Remember how we told you that the Droid RAZR will be launched on November 10, or just in a little over a week from now? Well, scratch all that, as we have a new release date for you, as it often is the case with new Android device launches, or Android updates, things get pushed back.

This time around it’s not a Droid Bionic-like situation, in which Motorola decided to redesign the device and launch it a few months after it was initially expected to hit stores. Instead Motorola, and Verizon, want to be remembered for for launching a hot new phone on an easy-to-remember date: 11/11/11, quite possibly at 11:11 AM. The date is clearly specified in the Verizon-made Droid RAZR teaser video below, and it looks like Verizon reps have quietly confirmed the launch.
So there you have it, folks, Motorola will release the Droid RAZR a day later than initially expected, on November 11, although it will be interesting to see whether those customers that have already pre-ordered the handset will get it by November 10.
Verizon is getting ready for one of the hottest smartphone launch period in its history. After the iPhone 4S, which was launched on October 14, Big Red will have three high-end Android handsets, the Droid RAZR, the HTC Rezound and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Its subscribers will have a tough time deciding on one of these four devices, especially if they’re buying Android rather than iOS. At the same time none of Verizon’s U.S. competitors will be able to match this smartphone offering, although AT&T and Sprint also carry the iPhone 4S and have their fair share of interesting Android devices.
In case you haven’t pre-ordered yours, the Droid RAZR will cost you $299.99 with new two-year contracts, which is what the Rezound, and probable the Gaalxy Nexus, will also cost. Anyone specifically interested in the RAZR?

The Razr is advertised to have Bluetooth version 4.0. However, Verizon is advertising Bluetooth version 2.1. Does anybody know if it’s a typo, or are we getting ripped off?
