Republic Wireless Announces November 8th Launch Date
Mobile users will soon have another option to consider in terms of wireless service. And perhaps a bit nicer sounding, the new option is one that will be bringing unlimited calling, messaging and data for what we would describe as a low monthly price.

That being said, while this all sounds interesting enough, there are still come important details missing. For example we are unsure of which mobile network that this new company will be using. But that aside, before we break down the bad or missing, lets get into what we do know.
The service will be offered under the brand name of Republic Wireless and it will come priced at $19 per month for unlimited everything. And by everything, we are referring to calling, messaging and data. The announcement coming from Republic Wireless breaks it down as follows;
On November 8, everything changes.
Dear Cell Phone World,
You are overdue for serious evolution.
You are OS-SIS–Set in Stone. You’re 21st Century technology married to a 20th Century business model. But we’ve moved on. We don’t just want wireless. We want stringless. As a matter of fact, we want it DIY. We’re responsible adults. We drive cars. We vote. We can definitely join together to make a new kind of wireless network. One for us. One, in fact, that is us. In other words, we have our own Operating System. It’s called Freedom, and it works.
Sorry for the short notice. November 8 is practically tomorrow. But the future happens fast around here.Yours truly,
Republic Wireless
With that, we obviously also still need to learn a bit more about how all this is going to work including which handsets will be offered and which will be supported if you are hoping to bring one from another carrier. And lastly, as for the above image, that one comes from the Republic Wireless website and may provide a clue — hint, it is showing an opened up handset, which just so happens to be the LG Optimus S.
