Apple iPhone 4S Global Roll-Out Will Continue On November 11th

Apple To Release The iPhone 4S In Hong Kong, South Korea & 13 Other Countries On November 11th With Pre-Orders Beginning On November 4th

Apple has officially announced the next phase in terms of the global iPhone 4S roll-out. The date to pay attention to will be the 11th of November and this comes as a follow-up to the 22 countries began selling the handset on October 28th. Of course, this latest, while nice to see comes with not as much in terms of surprise.

That being said, this latest batch will include 15 countries in total with actual availability coming on November 11th. And similar to the previous releases, the handset will be available for pre-order one week earlier, which in this case means November 4th. With that, and without any further adieu, here are those 15 countries;

“Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Malta, Montenegro, New Zealand, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania and South Korea.”

Otherwise, one catch that we have with this release date, not all of those countries will have pre-orders available on the 4th. According to the details coming from Apple, “pre-orders not available in Albania, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malta, Montenegro and Panama.”

Coming off the initial release, of which we saw Apple sell 4 million 4S’ during that first weekend — the handset availability has since spread to 29 countries. And looking forward, Apple still looks to be on track to have the iPhone 4S available in “more than 70 countries by the end of the year.”

With that, so far we have yet to see anything in terms of specific pricing for individual countries, however given Apple has offered up these official details — we suspect that carriers will begin making their own announcements sooner rather than later. After all, the handset will be available for pre-order (in most of those 15 countries) in just a few days time.

Bottom line, the roll-out continues as planned and in fact, the only real question we have at this point is what the global sales numbers look like.
