Motorola Droid RAZR Release Date Confirmed for November 10

Leaked Document Makes RAZR Android Smartphone Launch Almost Official, Phone Still Available for Pre-order

Motorola’s latest Android flagship phone, the Droid RAZR has been available for pre-order for a few days now, but an official release date for the handset has not been really mentioned.

Today, thanks to a newly leaked Verizon document, we can confirm that the RAZR will be launched on November 10, just as previously rumored. The image bellow reads, among other things:

Pre-order via the Iconic Portal started on October 27th, 2011.
This device will launch in all channels November 10th, 2011!

The RAZR is Motorola’s main weapon against the iPhone 4S and two other high-end Android handsets that Verizon will soon launch, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the HTC Rezound.

Being a 4G LTE phone, the RAZR will cost you $299 when purchased with a two-year contract, a price we’ve seen posted for most LTE high-end Android devices launched by Big Red this year. The RAZR will be a Verizon exclusive in the USA, at least for the time being, but Motorola will also sell the handset in various other markets.

Here are the main specs and features of Verizon’s Droid RAZR:

  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD touchscreen display
