Free Halloween-Themed Dungeon Defenders DLC Available Now [Dungeon Defenders Gets Two Free Pieces Of Halloween DLC, But They're Only Available For The PC Version]
Halloween is nearly upon us, but my guess is that if you’re reading this, you’re probably a little too old to go trick-or-treating. Sure, you could go to a Halloween party, but what kind of square goes to a party on a Monday night? Here’s a better idea: spend the night in, don’t buy any candy for those pesky neighborhood kids that will be plaguing the streets tomorrow evening, and play Dungeon Defenders!

“But what does Dungeon Defenders have to do with Halloween?” you ask? Well, if you happen to own the PC version, you can head over to Steam right now and download two pieces of Halloween-themed Dungeon Defenders DLC right this minute. Together, the Halloween Costume and Mission Packs add eight new costumes for your warriors to wear, a new Halloween mission that Trendy Entertainment describes as “devilishly hard,” a theme for the in-game tavern, and eight new weapons.
A pretty good deal if you ask me, especially since you’re asked to pay the great price of absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, these free pieces of DLC are only free for the PC version. That’s right, it’s my sad job to report that Xbox 360 and PS3 players are being left out in the cold with this little promotion, so it looks like you console gamers will have to spend your evening at one of those lame Halloween parties or making children happy by handing out free, sugar-laden treats.
If you’re lucky enough to own the PC version of Dungeon Defenders, give the trailer below a watch and the take to the comments section to tell us what you think of Dungeon Defenders so far – does it carry the same addictive gameplay as other tower defense titles, or do you find yourself getting bored with it? Will you be downloading this free DLC, or passing up on Trendy’s free offerings?
