Google Music Outs MP3 Shop A Tad Too Early, Removes Reference to It Quickly
Google Music’s been making waves recently due to a prior announcement that Google will start selling MP3 tracks through the service soon. Then Andy Rubin announced at AsiaD that it will have a “a little twist,” that was later rumored to be the ability to share music tracks with your friends for a limited time. Now, we get a bit more tangible proof of Google Music’s imminent MP3 store through an error on the company’s part.

The Google Music page showed, albeit very briefly, a button that will lead to an MP3 shop in the future. That’s on top of the Ice Cream Sandwich-ish redesign. The button that says “Shop Android Market” very clearly states that Google will sell MP3 through the Market, although when the service will actually go live is yet to be known. It was quickly removed afterward, but newsondroid.com has thankfully been able to capture a screenshot.

Will you use Google’s Music MP3 store once it’s out, or are you more than content with iTunes and Spotify or whatever music buying and streaming service you use now?
