Best Buy Canada Continues The Free Phone Fridays

Latest Best Buy Free Phone Friday Includes Offerings From Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, Virgin Mobile & Koodo

Best Buy Canada has announced their latest round of Free Phone Fridays offerings. This week deals come from several carriers including Telus, Bell, Rogers, Fido, Koodo and Virgin Mobile. In total, there are about a dozen handsets from the previously mentioned carriers, of which all except one are available for free (or one penny).

That being said, lets break this down by carrier beginning with the offerings from Telus. These offerings include the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate 4G and the BlackBerry Curve 9360 in pink. The Galaxy S, as one would expect is free of charge, well technically speaking it is priced at $0.01. Otherwise, the Curve 9360 is not quite as free, this one comes priced at $349.99. The Galaxy S requires a three-year agreement and the Curve 9360 is contract free.

Next up, the handsets from Bell, these include three from HTC — the Sensation, Incredible and the Wildfire. These are all priced at $0.01 on a three-year agreement.

As for Rogers, their offerings include the BlackBerry Torch 9810 and the HTC EVO 3D, both of which are free on a three-year agreement.

Moving on and we come to Fido, they are offering just one, the Samsung Galaxy Q which is available for free and comes with a $25 gift card.

Next up, Koodo, who have the BlackBerry Curve 9300, the INQ Cloud Touch and the LG Optimus One available. These handsets are all available for free and the Optimus One comes with a free $50 gift card.

Lastly, we have Virgin Mobile with the HTC Wildfire S and the Samsung Galaxy Gio. In this case, the Wildfire S is free and the Galaxy Gio is $0.01, however both come with free $75 gift cards.

Bottom line, nothing over the top exciting, however those looking for a slightly basic smartphone may be happy to get something without having to shell out the big bucks.
