PS Vita First Edition Bundle Goes Up For Preorder

I know there are more than a few gamers out there dying to lay hands on a PS Vita, but while you won’t be able to get it until February, you’ll actually be able to cut fully one week off your wait by way of a simple measure. And no, for you South Park fans out there, it doesn’t involve staying outside too long in winter.

It’s called the First Edition Bundle, available for preorders now, and when you put down your money for one of these at what’s being described as “selected retailers”, you’ll be able to get a PS Vita with both 3G and wi-fi, as well as a limited edition case, a four gig memory card, and a copy of Little Deviants. That assumes, of course, you’re in the United States. Canadians, meanwhile, won’t get the 3G but will get a significant discount.

But the part that’s really important here is that, not only will you get the goodies in question, you’ll also get yours fully a week ahead of schedule, as the First Edition Bundle is set to be fulfilled fully one week ahead of the February 22nd release date.

And if you want one of these, you can hit Amazon, among others, for yours, as long as you’re willing to drop $349.99 on it. The Canadian version, meanwhile, will as mentioned drop the 3G but instead sell for $299.

A pretty good deal, I’d say, especially if you were planning to preorder one anyway. Admittedly, waiting that extra week and not buying the bundle will save you a bit of cash, down to $249.99 if you just get the wi-fi version, but if you’ve got to be the first to get hands on it, then this is probably the route you want to go.
